JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The government along with the House of Representatives (DPR) have agreed on revoking the government regulation in lieu of law (Perppu) No. 4 /2008 regarding the Financial System Safety Net (JPSK).
The government and the DPR also agreed to soon sit together to discuss the JPSK bill.
The agreement was made during the working meeting between Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro and the House Commission XI (overseeing banking and financial affairs).
The agreement has been supported by all ten of factions of political parties at the House Commission XI.
The Perppu JPSK No. 4/2008 itself was issued by Sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) back in Oct. 15, 2008.
