The Government has decided to cut the price of subsidized gasoline by 10.6% to Rp7600 per liter due to the downfall of crude oil prices.
The new price will be effective Thursday, January 1st, 2014. The subsidized gasoline price was hiked in late November to ease the State budget, but falling oil prices forced the government to revise down the price from Rp8500 to Rp7600 per liter.
Price for subsidized diesel also reduced from Rp7500 to Rp7250 per liter.
