JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Alex Noerdin, South Sumatra Governor and politician from Golkar Party, finally answered the call from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for questioning session on Monday (Apr. 20). Alex earlier failed to answer two previous KPK’s call.
Alex arrived at KPK’s office this morning at around 8:45 am of Jakarta time. At the time of writing, Alex has still been questioned as a witness for Rizal Abdullah, former Head of South Sumatra’s Public Works office and suspect in the case.
According to KPK’s indictment against El Idris, Rizal Abdullah had, among others, received fees from the athlete dormitory project. Idris is former convict in the case.
The indictment also mentions Idris’ confession about PT Duta Graha Indah’s (DGI) plan to give a 2.5% fee from the total Rp191 billion fund of the athlete dormitory’s construction project to Alex Noerdin. PT DGI is the winner of the project tender.
