JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Harry Azhar Aziz, former lawmaker of Golkar party, was on Tuesday (October 21) appointed as new Chief of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) replacing Rizal Djalil for 2014-2019 period.

Born in Tanjung Pinang, Riau island, Harry (58th) graduated from the University of Oregon (United States) and Oklahoma State University.

Prior to be appointed as new BPK Chief, he served as deputy head of Commission XI at the House of Respresentative (DPR) for 2009-2014 period.

Meanwhile, Sapto Amal Damandari was appointed as deputy chief of BPK. BPK’s members are Agung Firman Sampurna, Agus Joko Pramono, Eddy Mulyadi Soepardi, Rizal Djalil, Moermahadi Soerja D, Bahrullah Akbar, and Achsanul Qasasi.
