JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Yoseph Pekei, Chairman of Golkar Party’s Deiyai branch in Papua, revealed the disbursement of Rp50 million fund to each Golkar’s regency/municipality branches (DPD II) to win Aburizal “Ical” Bakrie’s re-election in the party’s chairmanship congress (munas) in Nusa Dua, Bali, Kompas.com reported.
The money, Yoseph said, was delivered by Ical Bakrie to the Golkar’s DPD II through Golkar’s provincial chapters (DPD I).
Other than money politics, Yoseph also revealed about intimidation, such as a dismissal, from Ical Bakrie’s central executive board (DPP) to Golkar’s DPD II.
Yoseph said some leaders of other Golkar’s DPD II in North Sumatra and Lampung whose were also dismissed just before the kick off of Bali Munas. He claimed that almost of 519 Golkar’s DPD II were disappointed with the intimidation.
As reported earlier, Deputy Chairman of Golkar as well as Chairman of the so-called Presidium for Saving Golkar Agung Laksono also revealed about intimidation and money politics ahead and during the Bali Munas.
Ical Bakrie and his supporters, however, have yet responded to the accusations reported by Kompas. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
