JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investment company PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR), controlled by Hary Tanoesoedibjo, has bagged loan of US$427.5 million, to fund its high speed internet services handled by its unit, PT MNC Kabel Mediacom.
The loan is provided by the vendor of MNC Kabel Mediacom amounting US$300 million and by China Development Bank Corporation (CDB) amounting US$127.5 million.
BMTR booked net profit of Rp889.35 billion in the first half of 2014, declined 9.5% from Rp983 billion in the same period of 2013.
Revenues also rose 9.5% to Rp5.28 trillion from previous Rp4.82 trillion. Its assets totaled Rp22.06 trillion while liability amounted Rp6.87 trillion. The company has cash and cash equivalent of Rp1.04 trillion.
