JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) has in April 28, 2014 secured loan facility of Rp500 billion, equivalent US$41.02 million, from Indonesia Eximbank, used to fund the purchase of new aircrafts.

The loan has tenor of 36 months since the drowdown and carries annual interest rate of 9.5%.

GIAA also plans to pay debt of US$200-300 million this year, funded by internal cash and loans.

The airline allocates capex of US$150-200 million for this year, partly used to purchase 27 new aircrafts.
