JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’s under-19 football team will face Uzbekistan in their first match at the Under-19 Asian Cup held on Friday (Oct. 10) noon at Thwunna Stadium, Yangon, Myanmar.

Coach Indra Sjafri said he believe his boys could give their best during the championship.

Uzbekistan is not an easy team to beat for Indonesia. Uzbekistan reached the semifinal three times in a row in three previous Asian Cups in 2002, 2008, and 2012.

Indonesia under-19 will apply the 4-3-3 formation with Evan Dimas as the team captain.

After Uzbekistan, Indonesia will face Australia and United Arab Emirates in the Group B qualification. (haryantos@yosefardi)
