JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Four companies are now building sugar mills with total investment cost of Rp19.67 trillion, Investor Daily reported. That sugar mills have total combined capacity of 1.16 million tons of sugar cane per year.
That 4 companies are PT Usaha Ridha Semesta (Indramayu-West Java), PT Sukses Mantap Sejahtera (Samora Group) in Dompu (West Nusa Tenggara/NTB), PT Kebun Tebu Mas (Labinta Group) in Lamongan (East Java), and PT Sumber Mutiara Indah Perdana in Rupat island (Riau).
While Samora Group, Tene Group, Labinta Group, and Wilmar Group are keen to build refined sugar mills in Indonesia with total investment of Rp26.87 trillion.
