JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Former Vice Minister of Law & Human Rights Denny Indrayana will finally answer the call from the National Police’s Criminal Investigation (Bareskrim Polri) for questioning Thursday (Mar. 12) related to further investigation into graft allegation on the payment gateway system at the Law Ministry.
Denny failed to answer the first call from Police last week. Denny confirmed to answer the Police’s call to Kompas.com through a short message service (sms).
Spokesperson of the National Police’s headquarters Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said the Police earlier has questioned 20 witnesses in the case, including former Minister of Law & Human Rights Amir Syamsuddin.
Amir Syamsuddin, who is head of SBY’s Democratic Party Honorary Board, was questioned for two hours on Tuesday (Mar. 3).
Amir Syamsuddin and Denny Indrayana led the Ministry of Law & Human Rights from 2011 to 2014 under the administration of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
