JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 764,461 tourists in November 2014, declined 5.32% from 807,422 tourists in November 2013.
Compared to October 2014, the figure fell 5.48%. Foreign investors visited Indonesia in October 2014 totaled 808,767.
Total foreign tourists went to Bali, one of the most attractive places in Indonesia, through Ngurah Rai Airport, in November 2014 amounted 298,858 tourists, down 1.05% from 296,990 in November 2013. Compared with October 2014, the number dropped 13.37%.
The main gate of Soekarno-Hatta Airport recorded foreign arrival of 180,208 tourists in November 2014, fell 9.68% from 199,511 tourists in November 2013. Compared with October 2014, the figure rose 1.66%.
The number of tourists stayed in star hotels in 27 provinces reached an average number of 54.45% in November 2014, declined 1.57 points compared to November 2013 (56.02%). Compared to October 2014 (54.29%), the number was up 0.16 points.
Both domestic and international tourists on average stayed in the star hotels for around 1.96 days in November 2014, up 0.09 points compared to November 2013, and down 0.02 days from October 2014.
