JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Weekly net sell by foreign investors on Indonesian stocks receded to Rp1.12 trillion in the week ended August 30, 2013.
Compared to the previous weeks, the selloffs dropped substantially from Rp5.72 trillion in the week ended August 23 and Rp1.37 trillion in the week ended August 16.
Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange also gained 0.61% for the week ended August 30 against 8.73% fall in the previous week.
On Friday, August 30, foreign investors booked net buy of Rp628 billion, cutting down year-to-date net sell to Rp9.18 trillion. The net buy also contributed to the strengthening of rupiah Friday.
