JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign investors returned to net sell position of Indonesian stocks for the week ended May 17.
They bought Rp12.17 trillion worth of Indonesian stocks, but sold Rp12.28 trillion. It resulted in net sell of US$115 million for the week.
Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), meanwhile, advanced 0.78% in the week to close at 5145, lifted mostly by consumer goods, manufacturing, property, agriculture, and infrastructure.
Mining was top loser, down 3.31%, while finance and basic industry slipped 0.91% and 0.64% respectively.
