JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign investors recorded net sell of Indonesian stocks worth Rp9.14 trillion in the week ended June 14, 2013.
That was the single largest weekly net sell by foreign investors year-to-date. They sold a total of Rp27.05 trillion or about US$2.8 billion and purchased a total of Rp17.9 trillion worth of Indonesian stocks in the week.
Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower by 2.15% in the week led by trade & services (-5.45%), mining (-4.46%), infrastructure (-3.6%), consumer goods (-3.11%), and property (-3.11%).
BRI topped the list of trading value with Rp3.37 trillion in the week, followed by Telkom (Rp3.03 trillion), Bank Mandiri and Astra International.
