JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign investors reported net sell of Indonesian stocks worth US$60 million in the week ended May 24.
The net sell is smaller than previous week’s US$115 million. Trading value was pretty high at Rp32.9 trillion or about US$3.4 billion.
Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), meanwhile, ended slightly higher 0.18% in the week, supported mostly by agriculture (+5.66%), property sector (+1.9%), and basic industry (+1.24%).
Mining sector was still under pressure, down 4.8% on average, while finance slipped 0.78%.
Top ten equity trading by value are Astra International, Telkom, BRI, Mandiri, Trada Maritime, Lippo Karawaci, Bumi Serpong Damai, PGN, Bhakti Investama, and Kalbe Farma.
