JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Dino Patti Djalal will soon leave his post as Indonesian Ambassador to the United States of America (USA) in order to focus on the primary being conducted by President SBY’s Democratic Party.
“I have submitted the plan (to resign) to leaders at the ministry of foreign affairs and I will comply with regulations related to civil servants participating in the primary,” Dino said as quoted by Jawa Pos News Network Sunday (September 15).
Dino is one of 11 participants of the primary, which will officially be kicked off tonight.
His resignation letter, according to Dino, is being reviewed by National Civil Servants Agency (BKN).
“I don’t mind leaving my status as civil servant,” said the former spokesperson for SBY.
