SYDNEY (Yosefardi) – Energy World Corporation Ltd has erected the first 500,000 ton cold box at the Sengkang LNG project, Keera, South Sulawesi.

EWC said Tuesday that the cranes in the site were also positioned for lifting of the cold box No 2 and other significant site construction and equipments, including the LNG gas processing equipment, 80,000 m3 LNG tank foundations, and assembly of the slipform equipments.

As reported earlier, EWC plans to build four small LNG processing facility with 500,000 tons per annum capacity each.

EWC also operates gas-fired power plants and upstream oil and gas operations in Sengkang, South Sulawesi province.
