The former Surakarta Mayor said Indonesia should also get benefits from the cooperation. The social media like Facebook should drive the local economy, Jokowi said.

Zuckerberg, meanwhile, responded positively by saying he wants to cooperate with the Indonesian government to provide affordable internet services for Indonesian people.

He said Facebook would not only contribute to the local economy in the long run but also help connecting people, including to directly communicate with their leaders.
