JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) announced Tuesday (Dec. 15) that export of tin dropped 74% to US$39.5 million in November 2015, from US$153.1 million in previous month.
For January-November 2015 period, export of tin declined 28.5% to US$1.14 billion, from US$1.6 billion a previous year. Tin only contributed 0.95% to total non oil and gas export.
BPS also said export of jewelry also fell 36.97% to US$239.1 million last month from US$379.3 million in October 2015.
For January-November 2015 period, export of jewelry/diamonds grew by 4.3% to US$5.23 billion, from US$4.17 billion a year earlier. Jewelry contributed 4.3% to total export.
Export of machinery/electricity equipment also declined 15.34% to US$663.3 million last month and export of vehicles and components fell 23.87% to US$364.5 million.
For January-November 2015 period, export of machinery/electricity equipment declined 11.8% to US$7.88 billion. While export of vehicles and components rose 6.63% to US$5.06 billion.
Machinery/electricity equipment contributed 6.51% to total export of non oil and gas while vehicles/components contributed 4.18%.
