JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Indonesia Eximbank, also known as the Export Financing Agency (LPEI), plans to issue bond worth Rp7.8 trillion in 2013, Investor Daily reported this morning.
Basuki Setyadjid, LPEI’s director, said the bond will consist of rupiah bond amounting Rp3 trillion and global bond amounting US$500 million (equivalent Rp4.8 trillion).
He said the bond proceeds will be used to support its financing next year.
LPEI, Basuki said, targets outstanding financing of 28-30 trillion until end 2012, grew 30% from Rp22 trillion financing in 2011. For 2013, the financing is targted to reach Rp36.4 trillion to Rp39 trillion.
He added LPEI also plans to raise Rp2 trillion via bond issue to fund the financing expansion in the second half of this year. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
