JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned former Vice Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy Sapta Nirwandar for questioning on Thursday (June 25) related to investigation into corruption case implicating Jero Wacik, former Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy and politician from SBY’s Democratic Party.
Other than Sapta, KPK also scheduled to re-examine Jero Wacik as suspect in this case.
KPK had named Jero as suspect in the case since February 2015. According to KPK, the state losses is estimated Rp7 billion from this case.
Jero Wacik served as minister of Culture& Tourism from 2004 to 2011. Sapta Nirwandar, meanwhile, served as Vice Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy from 2011 to 2014. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
