JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Elang Mahkota Teknologi (EMTEK), controlled by Sariaatmadja family, moved up to 24th largest on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by market capitalization.
As of Friday, May 24, EMTK had market capitalization of Rp34.4 trillion, bigger than Adaro Energy (Rp34.2 trillion) and Global Mediacom (Rp34.1 trillion).
EMTK is parent company of Surya Citra Media (SCMA), which controls SCTV and Indosiar TV stations.
Property giant Lippo Karawaci, controlled by Riady family, meanwhile, moved up to 23rd largest with Rp36 trillion, below retailer Matahari Department Stores (Rp38.2 trillion).
Consumer goods giant Unilever has returned to fifth largest ahead of Bank Mandiri. Unilever (Rp246.4 trillion) is only inches below Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Rp248 trillion).
