JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher by at on Friday (August 2), but trade was remain volatile.
Most markets in region also closed in green zone. Japan’s Nikkei jumped 3.29% and Australia’s All Ordinaries gained 1%.
In Jakarta bourse, Alam Sutera rose 2.86%, Lippo Karawaci hiked 1.57%, Bank Central Asia increased 2.39%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia added 0.6%, Bank Negara Indonesia advanced 1.18%, and Trada Maritim lifted 1.48%.
Other gainers were Multipolar (+1.89%), Visi Media (4.62%), Bumi Resources Minerals (+8.7%), and Japfa Comfeed (+6.9%).
Among losers were Adaro Energy (-4.4%), Astra International (-0.74%), Bumi Serpong Damai (-1.27%), and Perusahaan Gas Negara (-1.7%).
Nymex’s crude oil inched down 0.06% tom US$107.82 against the US Dollar. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp10,288 against the US Dollar.
