JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has arrested seven people, including a lawmaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), in a caught-in-the-act operation (OTT) in Jakarta, Tuesday (Oct. 20) evening.
There is no official explanation yet from the KPK regarding the case implicating said seven people arrested by the KPK in a bribery transaction.
The KPK has not yet revealed the identity of the DPR lawmaker arrested in the operation.
But national media already speculated that the identity of the DPR lawmaker is a women with initial DYL from the faction of Hanura Party.
According to the DPR’s official website, there is a female lawmaker from Hanura with initial DYL. She is Dewi Yasin Limpo, a younger sister of Syahrul Yasin Limpo, the Governor of South Sulawesi and one of key leaders of the Golkar Party. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
