JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) ended substantially lower by 1.36% Friday (May 31).
The broader S&P 500 fell 1.43%, while Nasdaq composite down 1.01%. Consumer stocks dragged down DJIA as Pfizer Inc led with 3.14% correction, while Johnson & Johnson lost 2.1% and Procter & Gamble conceded 2.95%.
Hewlett-Packard also dropped 3.33%, while Coca Cola down 1.91%. The Walt Disney Co declined 2.43%, while Wal-Mart Stores dropped 1%.
Nymex crude oil also dropped 2.14% to US$91.61 per barrel in New York trading.
