JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Aircraft’s state-owned producer PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has secured export credit facility amounting US$3.3 billion, equivalent Rp30 trillion, from Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Detikfinance.com reported.
The loan has tenor of 3 years. IDB also plans to open office in Jakarta, expanded from Kuala Lumpur.
PTDI intends to improve its marketing and sales of aircraft products to some countries in Asia and Africa. PTDI has been promoting CN-295 military transportation aircraft to several Southeast Asian nations expressing interest.
