JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Suady Marasabessy, secretary of Democratic Party’s Primary, confirmed that Dino Patti Djalal, Indonesian ambassador to USA, is one of contenders in the primary.
“He will be interviewed Tuesday or Wednesday,” Suady said, adding other candidates have only been sent formal invitation to join the primary.
Media reported that Dino has met Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, chairman of Democratic Party, Friday (August 23).
Dino said SBY invited him to enter the primary scheduled next month. List of candidates, meanwhile, is scheduled for formal announcement later this month.
Born in Beograd September 10, 1865, Dino was spokesperson of SBY alongside Andi Mallarangeng, who has been named graft suspect.
