JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Bank Danamon shares ended further down by 5.62% to new low Friday (August 2nd) following the collapse of acquisition of Temasek Holdings’ shares by DBS Bank Ltd.
Danamon shares touched as low as Rp4175, before closing at Rp4200 with over 14 million shares exchanged hands. The stock has dropped 35% from its peak in April 2013.
Peers end mixed with BCA gaining 2.4% and BNI advanced 1.2%, while Bank Mandiri and CIMB-Niaga lost 1% on average. BTPN and BRI also ended higher grounds, but Permata and Victoria lost 1.84% and 2.34% respectively.
