JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Dahlan Iskan, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) and one of Democratic Party’s presidential hopefuls, has allegedly launched a campaign movie telling his life story titled “Sepatu Dahlan” (Dahlan Shoe).
The screening of the movie is scheduled for April 10, 2014, a day after the voting day of the legislative election. While the gala premiere of the movie itself was held at XXI Epicentrum Tuesday night (April 1).
Told to reporters, Dahlan denied accusation that the movie is obviously a part of his campaign to boost his electability ahead of July’s presidential election.
Dahlan is currently competing with ten other participants in the Democratic Party’s primary.
The winner of the primary is expected to be announced next month after the party conducted a series of surveys to find out one among eleven participants with the highest electability rating. The series of surveys on eleven participants of the primary, meanwhile, will be started on April 10. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
