JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower by 2.48% to 4515 Friday (June 21) after dropping more than 3% in the morning session.

Most blue chip stocks ended substantially lower led by Telkom (-5.24%), Astra International (-3.8%), BCA (-2.65%), Semen Indonesia (-8%), PGN (-5.88%), and Unilever (-1%).

Some miners, however, regained grounds led by Adaro Energy (+5%), Berau Coal (+2%), Bumi Resources (+3.7%), and Indo Tambangraya Megah (+1.4%). Indika Energy, however, collapsed 13.25%, while Vale Indonesia plummeted 10%.

Media giants Surya Citra Media (SCMA) and Media Nusantara Citra (MNCN) lost 6.6% and 6.2% respectively.
