JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Malaysia-based investment firm Creador Capital acquired 20% shares of PT Bank Index Selindo for Rp290 billion.

Cyril Noerhadi, Senior Managing Director of PT Creador Indonesia, said Creador opts to invest in qualified business such as banking sector in Indonesia.

Bank Index has assets of Rp6.3 trillion by end of 2014. It booked net profit of Rp94 billion last year. The bank’s loan reached Rp4.6 trillion.

Meanwhile PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia booked net profit of Rp300 billion in 2014, grew by 30.2% from 2013.

The bank’s assets also jumped 50% to Rp22 trillion. The bank is merger entity between PT Bank Hana and PT Bank KEB Indonesia.
