JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Central Proteinaprima Tbk (CPRO), or CP Prima, the largest shrimp farm in the world, booked net profit of Rp103.72 billion in first quarter of this year, compared to loss Rp51.24 billion in the same period of last year.

Net sales increased 20.7% to Rp1.97 trillion from previous Rp1.63 trillion. Cost of goods sold also rose 17.5% to Rp1.66 trillion from earlier Rp1.41 trillion.

CP Prima also booked foreign exchange (forex) gain of Rp150.79 billion in the period. Its assets reached Rp6.88 trillion while liability amounted Rp5.47 trillion. The company has cash of Rp185.64 billion.
