Cooper Energy Limited revealed that Bunian-3, an oil development well, spudded in the Sukananti field, South Sumatra, Indonesia on Wednesday (Dec 31).
Bunian-3 is an onshore vertical well with a projected total depth of 1682 meters, which requires about 28 days to complete.
Bunian-3 is located nearby the Bunian-1 well, which produces around 200 barrels of oil per day.
Cooper Energy Ltd, listed on ASX, owns 55% interest in the Sukananti joint operation, while Mega Adhyaksa Pratama Sukananti Ltd holds the balance.
