JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors focus buying in shares of coal producers this morning while broader market was on correction mood. Coal stocks were also a focus of buying yesterday but profit taking hit them in afternoon trade.
This morning, investors recollect coal stocks, mainly shares of Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS), boosting the stock by 6.8% this morning opening trade.
Other coal stocks, Indika Energy rose 2.6%, Harum Energy increased 1.7%, Delta Dunia up 1%, Bukit Asam inched up 0.8%, and Berau Coal gained 2.09%.
While Bumi Resouces fell 1% and Borneo Lumbung dropped 4% after reporting a loss in first half this year.
