JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – low cost carrier (LCC) Citilink Indonesia airline, subsidiary of flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) booked profit of US$5.9 million, equivalent Rp79.6 billion, in the third quarter of 2015.

The airliner suffered loss of US$12.1 million in the same period of 2014. Revenues grew by 22% to US$351.7 million from previous US$287.8 million.

Citilink carried 6.9 million passengers during January-September 2015 period, grew by 30% from the same period of 2014. For this year, Citilink targets its passengers to reach 11.2 million, compared to 7.8 million last year.

The airline plans to launch the initial public offering in 2016.
