JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk (CITA), controlled by Harita Group, booked unaudited net loss of Rp238.72 billion in first half of 2014, against profit of Rp438.6 billion in the same period of 2013.
Net sales dropped 90% to Rp167.8 billion from previous Rp1.69 trillion. CITA’s sales to Chalco Shandong International Trading Co Ltd reached Rp100.29 billion and sales to Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Ltd was Rp67.52 billion.
In first half of 2013, sales to Binzhou Resources Ltd reached Rp1.137 trillion and sales to Emerald Rich Technologies Corporation totaled Rp558.35 billion.
CITA, like other bauxite miners, has ceased its export since January 12, because the government imposed export ban.
