JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Chemical Company PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) booked net profit of US$4.9 million in first half of this year, compared to loss US$51.65 million in the same period of last year.

Net revenues increased to US$1.22 billion from previous US$1.16 billion. While cost of revenues reached US$1.18 billion, then gross profit was US$37.77 million.

Its assets totaled US$1.71 billion while liability amounted US$982.2 million.

PTRO has partnered with Ferrostaal Industrial Projects to study the opportunity to establish a petrochemical factory in Teluk Bintuni, West Papua with estimated investment of US$1.8 billion.
