SURABAYA (Indonesia Today) – Rudi Rubiandini, head of Special Working Unit of Upstream Oil and Gas (SKK Migas), stated that oil production from Cepu block, operated by Exxon Mobil Cepu Ltd, increased 22.7% to 27.000 barrels oil per day (BOPD ), compared to previous 22.000 BPOD.
The additional of 5.000 BOPD was obtained from early production facility/EPF. Currently production from the block reached 25.000 BPOD to 27.000 BOPD.
Under the addition production of the oil and gas, SKK Migas is optimistic that oil production from Cepu block would reach 26,000 BOPD at the end of 2013. (ferdi@theindonesiatoday.com)
