HONG KONG (Yosefardi) – Airline companies Cathay Pacific and Dragnair posted net profit of HK$2.62 billion in 2013, soared 204% from HK$862 million in 2012.

Turnover inched up 1.1% to HK$100.48 billion from previous HK$99.38 billion. Net borrowings increased 12.3% to HK$62.89 billion.

Passengers carried rose 3.3% to 29.92 million during 2013 while passenger load factor reached 82.2%, from previous 80.1%. Passenger revenue in 2013 increased by 2.4% to HK$71.83 billion.

Dragonair will begin a two-times-weekly services to Denpasar, Bali in Indonesia this month.
