JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Association of Indonesia Automotive Industry (Gaikindo) reported that Indonesia exported 140,465 units of completely built-up (CBU) car during January-August 2015, grew by 19% from 127,199 units in the corresponding period of 2014.
While export of completely knock down (CKD) reached 72,026 units. The export of components was 3.15 million pieces.
For this year, Gaikindo targets export of CBU and CKD cars to reach 310,000 units, stagnant compared to last year.
