JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of shipping company PT Capitol Nusantara Indonesia Tbk (CANI) jumped 19.5% to Rp239 per share on its trading debut Thursday (Jan 16).
CANI is subsidiary of SGX-listed ASL Marine. This company offered 208 million shares at Rp200 per share in the IPO to raise Rp41.67 billion. It booked net profit of US$544,222 in the first half ended June 30, 2013.
Meanwhile shares of insurance firm PT Asuransi Mitra Maparya Tbk (ASMI) soared 50% to close at Rp405 per share on its trading debut today.
The insurance firm offered 402 million shares at Rp270 per share in the IPO to raise Rp108.75 billion. It generated net profit of Rp3.16 billion in the first half ended June 30, 2013.
Shares of Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA) also gained 12.5% to close at Rp270 per share on its trading debut today. It offered 520 million shares at Rp240 per share to raise Rp124.8 billion in the IPO.
