JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Candidates for cabinet members have arrived at the State Palace ahead of the announcement of cabinet lineup by President Joko Widodo Sunday (Oct 26) afternoon.
They are, among others, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Lukman Hakim, Hanif Dhakiri, Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Sofyan Djalil, Yuddy Chrisnandy, Tjahjo Kumolo, Basuki Hadimuljono, and Retno Marsudi.
Retno is tipped new minister of foreign affairs, while Basuki is widely speculated as minister of public works and public housing.
Sofyan Djalil, meanwhile, is said candidate for coordinating minister of the economy. Sofyan was minister of information and communication and minister of state-owned enterprises in the period of 2004-2009.
