JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT BW Plantation Tbk (BWPT) booked net profit of Rp159 billion in first nine months of 2014, jumped 54% from Rp103 billion in the corresponding period of 2013.
Net sales rose 30% to Rp1.02 trillion from previous Rp786 billion. Crude palm oil contributed revenue of Rp869 billion, kernel Rp92 billion, and fresh fruit bunches Rp64 billion.
Sales to PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk reached Rp298.68 billion and sales to PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia was Rp135.7 billion.
Cost of goods sold also increased 33.5% to Rp589 billion from earlier Rp441 billion. Then gross profit was Rp436 billion.
Operating profit reached Rp267.5 billion, a 37% rise compared to Rp195 billion in first nine months of 2013.
BWPT’s assets reached Rp6.8 trillion as at September 2014 while liability totaled Rp4.44 trillion.
