SINGAPORE (Indonesia Today) – Bumitama Agri Limited, a plantation company controlled by Indonesian and Malaysian business groups, produced 160,092 MT of crude palm oil (CPO) in the fourth quarter of 2013, grew by 7.7% from 148,690 MT in the same period of 2012.
Then, for whole year of 2013, the company’s production totaled 522,743 MT, a 13.1% rise compared to 462,291 MT in 2012.
While, palm kernel production reached 30,462 MT in fourth quarter of 2013, increased 13% from the same period of 2012. For 2013, palm kernel totaled 99,397 MT, a 13.0% growth compared to 87,252 MT in 2012.
Bumitama’s fresh fruit bunches (FFB) also increased 11.3% to 689,306 in fourth quarter of 2013, and rose 15.7% to 2.24 million MT for whole year of 2013.
CPO and palm kernel extraction rate declined 2% and 2.2% respectively to 23.3% and 4.4%.
