JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS), owner of 18% shares in PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, collapsed 22% to Rp128 Tuesday (August 20) morning.
Trading in the stock was heavier with over 91 million shares exchanged hands in morning session, more than twice its average trading volume in the past three months.
The stock collapsed as much as 29% to Rp116 in the morning session on broad market sentiment. BRMS dropped significantly from as high as Rp600 in September 2012.
Parent company Bumi Resources (BUMI), controlled by Bakrie Group, also lost 8% to Rp400 with over 55 million shares exchanged hands.
