JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), revealed no change of ownership in both PT Arutmin Indonesia and PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC).
Media earlier reported Tata Power Co, the largest energy company in India, plans to sell 5% KPC shares to Bakrie Group for a total consideration of US$250 million, equivalent Rp3 trillion.
Currently Tata Power holds 30% KPC shares while PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) controls 51% and China Investment Corporation (CIC) owns 19%.
Media also reported Tata Power plans to sell 30% shares in energy infrastructure related to KPC. Tata Power has sold 30% shares of PT Arutmin Indonesia to Bakrie Group for US$500 million.
