JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk (BUKK), member of Kalla Group, plans to build nickel smelter with capacity of 2760 tons this year with investment cost of Rp400 billion.

The project will be funded by bank loan (70%) and internal cash. The company now mulls to seek loan from Exim Bank. The smelter will be located in Palopo, South Sulawesi.

The construction of smelter is targeted to complete by the second half of 2016. For this year, BUKK targets to book revenue of Rp1.2 trillion, a 10% growth from Rp1.1 trillion last year. Net profit is targeted for Rp130 billion, compared to Rp98.3 billion last year.
