JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors continued buying shares of coal miner PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BMRS), boosting the stock to gain by 6.5% in morning trade Wednesday (Oct 2).
The stock was traded at Rp245 at morning close with over 100 million shares exchanged hands. BRMS had rebounded 133% from its buttom but still lost 42% from its peak year to date.
Its parent PT Bumi Resources also rose 3.26%, but it has fallen 53% from peak year to date.
Other coal stocks; Harum Energy jumped 6.54%, Indika Energy increased 2.7%, Borneo Lumbung Energy gained 2.27%, Adaro Energy hiked 3.37%, and Berau Coal Energy inched up 0.52%.
