JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BMRS) jumped 10.6% to Rp200 per share Tuesday (Sept 17) on technical buying, with over 109 million shares exchanged hands.

The stock had fallen 63% from its peak year to date. On Monday (Sept 16), the stock also gained 10%.

BMRS, owner of 18% shares in PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, reached its bottom at Rp105 per share in August 21, 2013. It had rebounded 90% from its bottom.

Parent company Bumi Resources (BUMI), controlled by Bakrie Group, also gained 4.6% to Rp455 per share. The stock had lost over 45% year to date.

Meanwhile shares of coal producer Indika Energy jumped further 9.2% to Rp830 per share with over 16 million shares exchanged hands. The stock gained 6.58% on Monday (Sept 16).

The stock has rebounded 66% from its bottom at Rp500, but still lost over 40% year to date.

Other coal stocks; Berau Coal rose 1.2%, Petrosea increased 2.48%, Bukit Asam gained 2.69% while Adaro Energy closed unchanged.

Among miners, Medco Energy lifted 6.67%, Vale Indonesia hiked 4.2%, and Aneka Tambang inched up 0.68%. While Timah fell 1.36%.
