JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors focus buying shares of coal miner PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BRMS) this early morning trading, lifting the stock price by 7.5% to Rp229 per share. The stock had regained 118% from its bottom at Rp105 in August 21, 2013.
Other coal stocks also gained. Bumi Resources (BUMI) gained 3.5% to Rp325 after the shareholders approved on debt settlement mechanism for US$1.3 billion loan to China Investment Corporation (CIC). The settlement of debt is targeted to complete by end of this month.
Adaro Energy also rose 1.6%, Borneo Lumbung Energy hiked 3.66%, and Indika Energy lifted 2.97%. While Berau Coal was traded flat.
